To be fair, I can’t do justice reviewing my FPL season, which ended on a green arrow, an OR at 207k. The season ended on March 9 when the league suspended play after GW29. It was my hope the season would be null and void and I don’t voice that opinion because Watford was teetering on relegation in 17th position. Interest had been declining since October due to complications in my life and interest in the FPL game was at an all time low, no longer finding fun and enjoyment in what I was doing. We approach the first weekend with no FPL but some exciting all English action that starts with Watford (fuck Man City) playing in FA Cup Final. It gets better as it’s an all English final in both the Europa League and Champions League. When it comes to football, there are still some great games to come. Maybe I shouldn’t even consider this piece noteworthy. There were many individuals I collaborated with during the season. This was also the first season I used Twitter to aid the FPL decision making process. The word “lemmings” comes to mind as this social media outlet is but a small cross-section of a very LARGE online gaming community. That said, I had my “regular” users, sites and podcasts I turned to during the season.

This year saw my approaching my 5th season participating in fantasy football. A fantasy game I have really taken to, more so than it’s US counterpart ever did, participating for some 38 years! I would like to think I learned a few new things this season, practiced a bit more patience and applied good decision making, based on the facts and information at hand. However, my overall score and rank aren’t representative of where I feel I should be. Then again, I think ALL fantasy manager can related to that, right?
